Hck (Hematopoietic Cellular Kinase)

Hemopoietic cell kinase (Hck) is a member of the Src family of tyrosine kinases. Hck expression is prominent in cells of myeloid lineage, particularly in granulocytes and monocytes, with protein levels increasing during terminal differentiation and macrophage activation. Hck contains a unique amino-terminal domain that is subject to lipid modifications, targeting this kinase to the plasma membrane.\n\nHybridoma: \nProduced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, E. coli-derived recombinant human Hck (rhHck; aa 22-80; accession # P08631).\n\nApplications:\nWestern Blot: An antibody concentration of 1.0ug/ml is recommended. \nOptimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile PBS with 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
