Hrk (Activator of Apoptosis Harakiri, BH3-interacting Domain Containing Protein 3, BID3, DP5, Harakiri BCL2 Interacting Protein (Contains Only BH3 Domain), Neuronal Death Protein DP5)

HRK regulates apoptosis through its interaction with the anti-apoptotic proteins Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL, and in conjunction to the mitochondrial pore forming protein p32. HRK is thought to have a specific role in initiating neuronal and hematopoietic cell apoptosis, in particular to growth factor deprivation. \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: 2-5ug/ml. Detects a band at ~13kD in mouse pancreas tissue lysate.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:\nI1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\nI1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
