The HSNF2H protein, a product of the SMARCA5 gene, is a member of the Imitation Switch (ISWI) family. This chromatin remodeling protein has ATP-dependent helicase activity and is implicated in the regulation of replication-associated nucleosome assembly as well as global chromatin structure. The HSNF2H protein has also been implicated in the transcriptional regulation of some genes. For example, studies suggest that HSNF2H is associated with activation and inactivation of cytokine genes and potentially the propagation and aggressiveness of some types of cancer.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 0.5ug/ml\nImmunocytochemistry: 1:500\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHeLa cell lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
