HTLV-1 env, Recombinant (Human T Cell Leukemia Virus)

The protein contains the C- terminus of gp46 and most of p21E of HTLV-I. This non-fusion contains immunodominant fragment, amino acids (165-440).\n\nSpecificity:\nImmunoreactive with all sera of HTLV-I and HTLV-II infected individuals with antibody response to HTLV envelope.\n\nApplications:\nUse as an antigen in ELISA and Western Blot. Excellent reagent for correct detection of HTLV infections, with minimal specificity problems.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
