CD275 is also known as ICOS ligand (inducible T cell co-stimulator ligand). CD275 is a member of the B7 family, and interaction with its receptor CD278 (ICOS) plays an important role in T cell co-stimulation and inflammatory immune reactions. CD275 is expressed on activated B-cells, monocytes and dendritic cells and is also induced on non-lymphoid tissue cells such as endothelial cells, epithelial cells and muscle cells. CD275 has an important physiological role in the reactivation of effector/memory T cells on the endothelium, thus controlling entry of immune cells into inflamed tissue. The CD278-CD275 pathway is thought to be critical in the immune response to transplants, allergies and autoimmune diseases.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: Neat:1:5. Use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells in 100ul.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nHybridoma: \nP3U1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. \n\nRecommended Negative Control:\nI1904-78R3: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (FITC)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
