The inducible co-stimulator receptor (ICOS) is a member of the CD28 receptor family that is expressed on T cells. Recently, a new ligand (ICOS ligand, ICOSL) has been identified that binds to ICOS, but not to CD28 or CTLA-4. ICOSL is constitutively expressed on monocytes, dendritic cells and B cells. Binding of ICOSL delivers a co-stimulatory signal for T cell proliferation and cytokine secretion.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and ELISA. It is expected that the antibody will be suited for all applications where recognition of the native protein is required. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution: \nFlow Cytometry: 1.2ug/10e6 cells\nELISA: 1:100-1:200 \nOptimal dilution determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
