IgA, Human

Human Immunoglobulin A (IgA) represents about 15% to 20% of immunoglobulins in the blood, although Human Immunoglobulin A (IgA)is primarily secreted across the mucosal tract into the stomach and intestines. This prevents microbes from binding to epithelial cells in the digestive and respiratory tracts. Human Immunoglobulin A (IgA)helps to fight against pathogens that contact the body surface, are ingested, or are inhaled. \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
