Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) exhibits multiple biological activities on a variety of cells including the induction of IL-6 and IL-8 production in fibroblsts, the enhancement of surface expression of ICAM-1 in fibroblast, activation of NF-kappaB and costimulation of T cell proliferation. Induces stromal cells to produce proinflammatory and hematopoietic cytokines. Sequence: Signal peptide and the sequence of human IL-17A (aa 1-155) are fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1. Storage and Stability: Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
