Hematopoietic growth factor capable of stimulating the proliferation of lymphoid progenitors. It is important for proliferation during certain stages of B-cell maturation.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: To detect Rat IL-7 by sandwich ELISA (using 100ml/well) a concentration of 0.25-1ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-Rat IL-7 as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant Rat IL-7.\nELISA (Direct): To detect Rat IL-7 by direct ELISA (using 100ml/well) a concentration of approximately 1ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant Rat IL-7.\nWestern Blot: To detect Rat IL-7 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 mg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible development reagents the detection limit for recombinant Rat IL-7 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
