IL12RB1 (Interleukin-12 Receptor Subunit beta-1, IL-12 Receptor Subunit beta-1, IL-12R Subunit beta-1, IL-12R-beta-1, IL-12RB1, IL-12 Receptor beta Component, CD212, IL12R, IL12RB)

Functions as an interleukin receptor which binds interleukin-12 with low affinity and is involved in IL12 transduction. Associated with IL12RB2 it forms a functional, high affinity receptor for IL12. Associates also with IL23R to form the interleukin-23 receptor which functions in IL23 signal transduction probably through activation of the Jak-Stat signaling cascade.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:8000\nWestern Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, observed in human peripheral blood mononucleocytes lysates on ~100kD bands\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
