Immunoglobulin Superfamily Member 4C (IGSF4C, Nectin-Like 4, TSLC1-Like Protein 2, TSLL2)

IGSF4C (Immunoglobulin Superfamily member 4C), also known as Nectin-like 4 (Necl-4) and TSLL2, is a 48-55kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is a member of the nectin-like family of IGSF molecules. It is expressed in the brain, kidney, bladder and prostate. IGSF4C forms cis homophilic dimers on cell surfaces and mediates cell adhesion through homophilic trans-interactions in a Ca 2+/Mg 2+-independent manner. IGSF4C may also be a tumor-suppressor candidate in human prostate cancer. The mature 364 amino acid (aa) molecule contains a 299 aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa 25-323) with three Ig-like motifs and a short cytoplasmic domain. There is at least one potential splice variant, which shows an insertion of 15 aa after Tyr309. \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 50ug/ml. Add 10ul of diluted antibody to 1-5x10e5 cells (max. total volume 200ul).\nELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml; Detection limit for recombinant human IGSF4C is ~0.3ng/well.\nWestern Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml; Detection limit for recombinant human IGSF4C is ~5ng/lane (reducing and non-reducing conditions).\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:\nI1903-12S, IgG, H&L (PE) Donkey x Goat\nI1903-30A, IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (FITC) Rabbit x Goat\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol in PBS and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
