Inactivation: 0.005% merthiolate. This product has been treated in a manner consistent with methods of inactivation. Generally accepted good laboratory practices appropriate to microbiological/viral safe handling practices and techniques is required at work.\n\nImmunological Activity: \nHas been tested with anti-influenza A monoclonal antibodies in ELISA.\n\nApplications: \nSerological studies of influenza A virus, immunogen for antibody production.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
