Isocitrate Dehydrogenase, Recombinant (ICDH), NADP

Isocitrate Dehydrogenase is an enzyme of the oxidoreductase class that catalyzes the conversion of isocitrate and NAD+ to yield 2-ketoglutarate, carbon dioxide, and NADH. It occurs in cell mitochondria. The enzyme requires Mg2+, Mn2+; it is activated by ADP, citrate, and Ca2+, and inhibited by NADH, NADPH, and ATP. The reaction is the key rate-limiting step of the citric acid (tricarboxylic) cycle. Recombinant MDH is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.\n\nSpecific Activity:~30u/mg protein (25 degrees C, pH 8.5)\n\nUnit Definition:\nOne unit is defined as 1 mol of NAD+ production per minute under the assay conditions (25 degrees C, pH 7.5).\n\nContaminants: (as rICDH activity = 100%): \nIsocitrate dehydrogenase (NAD+) (same/less than) 0.5%\n\nDimers and Aggregates: \n(same/less than) 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis. \n\nEndotoxin: (same/less than) 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of riCDH.\n\nState: Purified enzyme in solution \nOne ml of solution contains the following. \nProtein 1~30mg \nK-PO4 0.05~0.1mol/L\nGlycerol 50% \npH 7.0
