ISOLATE II HT 96 Clean-up Kit is designed for the quick clean-up of PCR products (Fig. 1) by ultra-filtration. During the isolation procedure the PCR samples are applied to the wells containing an ultra-filtration membrane. Under vacuum or in a centrifuge, PCR contaminants (primers, dNTPs, salts) are removed and the purified PCR products are recovered. The ISOLATE II procedure eliminates the use of chaotropic salts for binding of nucleic acids and subsequent ethanol-based washing steps. The plates can be easily used either manually or automated on standard liquid handling instruments. The purified PCR fragments are suitable for downstream applications such as sequencing or microarray spotting.
