Jagged-2 is a putative Notch ligand involved in the mediation of Notch signaling, that can induce stromal cells to secrete IL-6, VEGF and IGF-1. Notch activation can interact with NF-kappaB and C-myc to promote the proliferation and to inhibit the apoptosis of MM cells, showed in the relationship between the incidence of myeloma and drug resistance. Jagged-2 is also involved in limb development.
Sequence:
Extracellular domain of mouse Jagged-2 (aa 24-1082) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG.
Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C
Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C
Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
