Keratin 19 (Keratin Type I Cytoskeletal 19, Keratin-19, K19, KRT19, Cytokeratin-19, CK19, CK-19, K1CS)

Cytokeratin 19, at 40kD, is the smallest human cytokeratin protein. It is found in several epithelial cell types such as ductal and glandular epithelia and in non-keratinizing squamous epithelia. This antibody will help detect cytokeratin 19 in normal and unchar- acterized tissues.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:150 for 1 hr. at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nSkin (cytoplasmic staining pattern)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
