L-Glutamate Assay Kit, BioAssay(TM)

The BioAssay(TM) L-Glutamate Assay Kit is based on a colorimetric method for the determination of L-glutamate with a new heat stable enzyme, L-glutamate oxidase, which exclusively acts on L-glutamate. This assay is recommended in food analysis and research applications as a replacement for other L-glutamate assays such as the enzymatic methods with L-glutamate decarboxylase or L-glutamate dehydrogenase and is easier to use. It requires only one reagent solution to perform the assay of L-glutamate. \n\nSince the absorbance at 600nm of the dye is relatively stable, the critical timing necessary for other enzymatic methods is not required. Also, the kit can be used without an incubator and the color development finishes in 20 minutes at RT.\n\nKit Components:\nG7114A: HEPES buffer, pH 7.1, 1x60ml\nG7114B: Lyophilized enzyme 1x1vial\nG7114C: L-glutamate standard 1x1.5ml\n\nRange of Detection: 10-500mg/l\n\nStorage and Stability:\nStore all components at 4 degrees C. Stable for 6 months.
