Each vial of HiTSeeker LHCGR Assay contains 3 million of HEK293 cells stably expressing human Luteinizing Hormone/Choriogonadotropin Receptor (LHCGR) with no tag. We offer this cell line as a stable cell line but we are now also offering vials of division-arrested cells (DA cells) in order to perform a small number of assays. Each vial of these DA cells contains 2.5 million cells, an enough number of cells to perform a complete experiment in a 96 well-plate or 384 well-plate. Innoprot HiTSeeker LHCGR Assay Cell Line has been designed to assay compounds or analyze their capability to modulate Luteinizing Hormone/Choriogonadotropin Receptor. When an agonist binds to the LHCGR a G protein is activated, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by second messengers (cAMP). This cell line has been validated measuring cAMP increase in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring LHCG receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
