Malate Dehydrogenase, Recombinant (MDH)

Malate Dehydrogenase is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of (S)-malate and NAD+ to oxaloacetate and NADH. The DNA encoding MDH was cloned from cDNA library of chicken heart.\n\nUnit Definition:\nOne unit is defined as 1umol of NAD+ production per minute under the assay conditions (25 degrees C, pH 7.5).\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
