The 5x MangoTaq Colored Reaction Buffer contains two inert dyes (a red dye and a yellow dye) that separate during gel electrophoresis and provide quick reference points for monitoring the mobility of the DNA samples in the gel. The red dye migrates at 300bp on a 2% Agarose gel. The yellow dye migrates at <10bp on a 1% Agarose gel.
