MAPK14 (Mitogen-activated protein kinase 14) is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAPK14 is most closely related to p38 MAP kinases (MAPKs). MAPKs are activated primarily in response to inflammatory cytokines and cellular stress, and inhibitors which target the MAPK14 and MAPK11 have shown potential for the treatment of inflammatory disease.
