MOP3 (BMAL1), a general dimerization partner for a subset of the bHLH-PAS (basic-helix-loop-helix-PER-ARNT-SIM) superfamily of transcription regulators, is involved in circadian rhythm generation. MOP3 interacts with MOP4, CLOCK, hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha and -2 alpha. This interaction appears to be distinct from that of the more characterized general partner, ARNT (HIF-1 beta).
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute to nominal volume (see reconstitution instructions for peptides) and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
