Species: human - male, 73 years old, Caucasian
Abnormal genes: p53 : LOH(+)
Tumorigenecity: yes, in nude mice
Isoenzyme: G6PD, B; PGM1, 1;PGM3, 1;ES-D, 1;Me-2, 0;AK-1, 1;GLO-1, 1;Phenotype Frequency Product = 0.0362
Histopathology: carcinoma, adenosquamous; stage 3A
Note: This line was derived from a tumor mass in the chest wall of a patient with adenosquamous carcinoma of the lung. The specimen was obtained prior to therapy. The cells express easily detectable levels of p53 mRNA (comparable to levels found in normal lung), and exhibit no gross structural DNA abnormalities. The cells stain positively for keratin and vimentin, but are negative for neurofilament triplet protein. The cells express multiple markers of squamous differentiation, including cross linked envelope formation, transglutaminase activity and production of involucrin.
p53 mutation: GGC to TGC, ex7, 245 codon,
Kras codon 12: GGT
