Neurogranin (BICKS, b50-immunoreactive C Kinase Substrate, Rc3, P17)

Neurogranin is a 78 amino acid neuron-specific substrate of protein kinase C that accumulates predominantly in dendritic shafts and spines of neurons. Immunoreactive neurogranin has been detected in many brain regions but is particularly abundant in the mammaliam forebrain. Immunostaining is completely abolished by pre-adsorption of the antibody with the immunogen peptide. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: 1:500-1:1000\nImmunohistochemistry: (same/more than)1:500 on 4% paraformaldehyde/ PBS fixed or 3% paraformaldehyde/0.1% glutaraldehyde/PBS fixed tissue sections.\nImmunocytochemistry: (same/more than)1:500\nImmunoprecipitation: (same/more than)1:100\nELISA: (same/more than)1:2000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
