NEUROLIGIN 3 (NLGN3, ASPGX1, AUTSX1, Gliotactin Homolog, HNL3, KIAA1480, Neuroligin-3, NL3)

This gene encodes a member of a family of neuronal cell surface proteins. Members of this family may act as splice site-specific ligands for beta-neurexins and may be involved in the formation and remodeling of central nervous system synapses. Mutations in this gene may be associated with autism and Asperger syndrome. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene, but their full length sequences have not been determined.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nELISA: 1:16,000\nWestern Blot: 0.05-0.2ug/ml \nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHuman Brain (Amygdala) lysates\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 monthsat -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
