Neuron Specific Enolase (Neuron-specific Enolase, NSE, Enolase 2, ENO2, Gamma-enolase, 2-phospho-D-glycerate Hydro-lyase, Neural Enolase)

Neuron Specific Enolase is a glycolytic isoenzyme that acts as a catalyst in certain reaction pathways. It is found predominantly in neurons, neuroendocrine cells, smooth and striated muscle cells, megakaryocytes, T cells and some platelets. This antibody will help detect neuron specific enolase in normal and uncharacterized tissues.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:250-1:500\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 for 1 hr. at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nWestern Blot: Brain\nImmunohistochemistry: Small intestine (cytoplasmic staining pattern)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
