NFATC1 (Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells, Cytoplasmic 1, NF-ATc1, NFATc1, NFAT Transcription Complex Cytosolic Component, NF-ATc, NFATc, NFAT2, NFATC)

NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cell transcription factors play critical roles in gene transcription during immune responses. The NFAT complex is made up of NFATc (NFATc1-4) protein and activator protein-1 (AP-1) transcription factor. NFAT proteins are regulated by Ca2+. NFATc1 is a substrate protein phosphatase calcineurin, a critical mediator of calcium signals during T-cell activation. NFATc1 activation requires the translocation of the transcription factor into the nucleus, a process that is mediated by calcineurin.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1-3ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nRamos cell lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
