NKp46, Natural Cytotoxicity Receptor (NCR NKp46, Natural Killer Cell Activating Receptor NKp46)

A natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR), NKp46, is a glycoprotein that has two extracellular Ig-like domains followed by a ~40 residue stalk resion, a type I transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. NKp46 has been shown to represent a novel NK cell-specific molecule involved in human NK cell activation. The natural cytotoxicity receptors (NCRs) are a recently characterized family of Ig-like activation receptors that appear to be major triggering receptors in tumor cell recognition. NKp46 has been implicated in NK cell-mediated lysis of several autologous tumor cells and pathogen-infected cell lines.\n\nHybridoma:\nDerived from hybridization of mouse SP2/O myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human NKp46.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
