Recognizes human nm23-HI protein, also known as nucleoside diphosphate kinase A (NDPK-A). There is minor crossreactivity with the homologous protein NDPK-B (nm23-H2).nm23 expression has been reported to correlate with improved prognosis in mammary carcinoma. The protein is implicated as a metastasis suppressor and expression is linked with less aggressive forms of this disease.
