Endothelial NOS (eNOS), also known as Nitric oxide synthase 3 (NOS3) or constitutive NOS (cNOS), is a nitric oxide synthase. It generates NO in blood vessels and is involved with regulating vascular function. A constitutive Ca2+ dependent NOS provides a basal release of NO. eNOS is associated with plasma membranes surrounding cells and the membranes of Golgi bodies within cells.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. \n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects eNOS/NOS III in RIPA lysates from HUVEC cells.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Control: \nPlatelets, placenta, liver, kidney\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
