Notch1, cytoplasmic domain (Notch Homolog 1, translocation-associated (Drosophila), hN1, Neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 1, Notch 1, TAN1, Translocation-associated notch protein TAN-1)

Notch is the receptor for Delta and Jagged ligands, which cause proteolysis of notch to liberate the intracellular domain. That domain translocates to the nucleus and initiates transcription events by binding the DNA binding protein CSL. The notch family members are involved in numerous differentiation and cell lineage determination steps.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:500\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nHek293 cell lysates\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
