NUP62 (Nuclear Pore Glycoprotein p62, 62kD Nucleoporin, Nucleoporin Nup62)

NUP62 is a massive structure that extends across the nuclear envelope, forming a gateway that regulates the flow of macromolecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Nucleoporins are the main components of the nuclear pore complex in eukaryotic cells. This protein is a member of the FG-repeat containing nucleoporins and is localized to the nuclear pore central plug. The protein associates with the importin alpha/beta complex which is involved in the import of proteins containing nuclear localization signals. All four variants represent identical protein.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:8000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
