p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate (pNPP)

p-NPP is a single component reagent system for microwell assay of Calf Intestine Alkaline Phosphatase (CIAP or CAP) labeled probes and is an excellent substrate for phosphatase based ELISA assays.\n\np-NPP produces a soluble end product which is yellow in color and read at 405-410 nm. Both kinetic and end point determinations can be performed.\n\np-NPP is the customary phosphate ester used as a substrate for measuring AP activity due to its high solubility in alkaline buffers which affords zero order kinetics and significant molar extinction coefficient of 18600 mol-1cm-1.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nStable for 12 months at 4 degrees C.\n\nAlso Available:\nN2600: p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate (pNPP)\nN2600-10: p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate (pNPP), 50X Concentrate, 0.19M/Liter
