P2X1, Control Peptide

Control Peptide for P1003-01.\n\nP2X1 is a subunit in the family of ion channels activated by extracellular ATP. It has two putative transmembrane domains with intracellular N- and C-termini. P2X1 can form homomeric channels and heteromeric channels with other members of the family. It was cloned from rat vas deferens and is present in smooth muscle as well as in the central and peripheral nervous system.\n\nSource:\nSynthetic peptide corresponding to residues 364-372 of the rat P2X1.\n\nMolecular Weight:\n~1305D\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
