PD 98059 (2-(2-Amino-3-methoxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one)

Potent, selective and cell-permeable inhibitor of MAP kinase kinase \n(MAPK/ERK kinase or MEK kinase). Inhibits phosphorylation of MAP kinase by MAP kinase kinase. PD 98059 does not inhibit MAP kinase itself.\n\nChemical Name:\n2'-Amino-3'methoxyflavone\n\nChemical Family:\nFlavone\n\nSolubility:\nSoluble in DMSO.\n\nBiological Activity:\nIC50 values for PD 98059-induced effects are in the 1-20uM range for many assays and somewhat weaker in inhibiting cell growth in monolayer or agar for some cells lines.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized: Stable for 2 years at-20 degrees C from date of shipment. Store tightly sealed in the dark.
