PD184352 is an inhibitor of mitogen activated protein kinase kinase (MEK or MAPKK). Solubility: Soluble in DMSO at 50mg/ml; soluble in ethanol at 8.3 mg/mL with slight warming; very poorly soluble in water; maximum solubility in plain water is estimated to be about 5-10uM. buffers, serum, or other additives may increase or decrease the aqueous solubility. Melting Point: As reported Elemental Analysis: Calculated C - 42.66% H - 2.95% Cl - 7.41% F - 7.94% I - 26.51% N - 5.85% Storage and Stability: Powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Keep cool and dry.
