PDE7B, Active, Recombinant, Mouse, GST-Tag (cAMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic Phosphodiesterase 7B)

Phosphodiesterase 7B, a cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase, has been shown to affect cAMP-mediated neural activity and cAMP metabolism in the brain. PDE7B activity is inhibited by dipyridamole, IBMX, and SCH51866. At least three splice variants have been isolated for PDE7B from rats and they show tissue specific expression patterns.\n\nSource:\nRecombinant corresponding to aa108-446 from mouse PDE7B, fused to GST-tag at N-terminal, expressed in Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system.\n\nMolecular Weight:\n~65kD\n\nSpecific Activity:\n~240pmol/min/ug\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nAliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
