Phosphatase, Alkaline, Placental (Alkaline Phosphatase Placental Type, ALP, ALPP, PALP, PLAP, Alkaline Phosphatase Regan Isozyme, Placental Alkaline Phosphatase 1, PLAP-1)

Placental Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP) is only found in normal term placenta, endocervix, oviduct and in ovarian and proximal intestinal tumors. A PLAP-like variant is seen mostly in fetal testis and thymus and some defined tumors. This antibody will help detect PLAP and PLAP- like enzyme in normal and uncharacterized tissues.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:40 for 1 hr. at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nPlacenta (membrane staining pattern)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
