Protein Kinase C beta 1, active, recombinant human (PKCb1)

Source:\nHuman recombinant protein produced from recombinant baculovirus in insect cells.\n\nSpecific Activity:\n810nmol phosphate transferred to histone H1 per minute per mg protein in 20mM HEPES, pH 7.4, 10mM MgCl2, 100uM CaCl2, 100ug/ml phosphatidylserine, 20ug/ml diacylglycerol, 200ug/ml histone H3, 100uM 32PATP and 0.03% Triton X-100 at 30 degrees C.\n\nPhospholipid Dependence:\nWhen assayed without phosphatidylserine and diacyglcerol the enzyme has less than 3% of the reported specific activity.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nStore at -80 degrees C for long term storage and -20 degrees C for less than one month.
