Human RBP4 immunoassay is a 2.5 hour solid phase ELISA designed to measure human RBP4 in cell culture supernates, serum, plasma, urine, and saliva. It contains NS0-expressed recombinant human RBP4 and has been shown to accurately quantitate the recombinant factor. Results obtained using natural human RBP4 showed linear curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the Quantikine kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for naturally occurring human RBP4. Assay Type: Solid Phase Sandwich ELISA Format: 96-well strip plate Assay Length: 2.5 hours Sample Type & Volume Required Per Well:Cell Culture Supernates (20 microL), Serum (10 microL), EDTA Plasma (10 microL), Heparin Plasma (10 microL), Saliva (10 microL), Urine (10 microL) Sensitivity: 0.628 ng/mL Assay Range: 1.56 - 100 ng/mL (Serum, Heparin Plasma, Saliva, Cell Culture Supernates, EDTA Plasma, Urine) Specificity: Natural and recombinant human RBP4 Cross-reactivity: < 0.5% cross-reactivity observed with available related molecules. Cross-species reactivity not tested. Interference: No significant interference observed with available related molecules. Kit Components: RBP4 Microplate, 1x96 wells RBP4 Conjugate, 1x21ml RBP4 Standard (lyophilized), 1x200ng Assay Diluent, 2x11ml Calibrator Diluent, 2x21ml Wash Buffer Concentrate (25X), 1x 21ml Color Reagent A, (H2O2) 1x12.5ml Color Reagent B (TMPD), 1x12.5ml Stop Solution (2N H2SO4) 1x6ml Storage and Stability: Store components at 4 degrees C.
