RGS19IP1 (PDZ Domain-containing Protein GIPC1, GAIP C-terminus-interacting Protein, RGS-GAIP-interacting Protein, RGS19-interacting Protein 1, Tax Interaction Protein 2, TIP-2, C19orf3, GIPC, GIPC1)

GIPC1, GIPC2, and GIPC3 are a family of central PDZ-domain proteins with GH1 and GH2 domains. GIPC1 has been shown to be highly expressed in gastric, pancreatic, colorectal and lung cancer cell lines. It also has a list of identified binding partners in vitro including many transmembrane proteins and cell surface molecules involved in adhesion. In vivo, there is evidence that suggests a role of GIPC1 in transmembrane protein trafficking through the Golgi stacks and possibly a role in the later stages of vesicle trafficking.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1-3ug/ml\nELISA: >1:32,000\nImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHuman kidney or HeLa\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
