Rituximab (FITC)

Rituximab is a therapeutic reagent directed against the human CD20 cell surface antigen. This antibody has been used to detect Rituximab bound to the surface of the Raji B cell line, however detection of Rituximab bound 'in vivo' to B-CLL cells has not been demonstrated. It is possible that complement deposition on Rituximab opsonised cells inhibits binding of the anti-Rituximab antibody to cell bound Rituximab (3).\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: Neat; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Negative Control:\nI1904-82E2: IgG2a Rat Negative Control (FITC)\n\nHybridoma:\nSpleen cells from immunized rats were fused with cells of the NS-1 mouse myeloma cell line.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
