RPA32 (Replication Protein A 32kD Subunit, Replication Factor A Protein 2, Replication Protein A2 (32kD), Replication Protein A2 32kDa, REPA2, RPA2, HSSB, p32, p34, RF-A Protein 2, RPA p32, RP-A p34, RPA34)

Replication Protein A (RPA) (also known as human single-stranded DNA binding protein, or HSSB) is involved in DNA replication, repair, and recombination. RPA from human cells is a stable heterotrimer of 70kD, 32-34kD, and 11-14kD subunits (RPA70, RPA32, and RPA14 respectively). RPA is required for the SV40 large tumor antigen- catalyzed unwinding of SV40 DNA and stimulates DNA polymerase alpha and delta. RPA34 is phosphorylated at the G1/S boundary of the cell cycle or upon exposure of cells to DNA damage-inducing agents including ionizing and UV radiation.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Gel supershift Assay, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2h\nImmunoprecipitation: 2ug/mg protein lysate\nImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:50 for 30min at RT\nStaining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10min followed by cooling at RT for 20min.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHela cells, tonsil\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
