Replication protein A (RPA) is a single- stranded-DNA-binding protein involved in multiple processes of eukaryotic DNA metabolism, including DNA replication, repair, and recombination, and found to be essential for replication of the papovavirus SV40 (1).It is a complex of three polypeptides of 70, 34, and 13kD (2). The 70kD subunit of RPA (RPA70) is composed of three functional domains consisting of an N-terminal domain that is not required for ssDNA binding or SV40 replication, a central DNA-binding domain, and a C-terminal domain that is essential for subunit interactions (3). \n \nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: 1:50\nWestern Blot: 1:2000-1:5000\nImmunoprecipitation: 1:10 \nImmunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100-1:250 \nImmunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:250\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
