Alpha-Sarcoglycan is present in normal muscle, but it has a differential expression in certain instances of muscular dystrophy. This antibody will help indicate the presence or absence of alpha-sarcoglycan.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:50-1:100\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 for 1 hr. at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nWestern Blot: Skeletal muscle, band at approximately 50kD\nImmunohistochemistry: Normal human striated muscle, continuous membrane staining.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
