Sarcoglycan, gamma (Gamma-Sarcoglycan, Gamma-SG, SGCG, 35kD Dystrophin-associated Glycoprotein, 35DAG, A4, DAGA4, DMDA, DMDA1, LGMD2C, MAM, SCARMD2, SCG3, TYPE)

Gamma-sarcoglycan is found in normal muscle but has a differential expression in certain instances of muscu- lar dystrophy. This antibody will help identify the pres- ence or absence of gamma-sarcoglycan.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:100 for 1 hr at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nNormal human striated muscle frozen in isopentane chilled in liquid nitrogen. Continuous staining around normal muscle fibers. No staining may be seen in patients with LGMD2C.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
