FATP4 is a transmembrane protein that is involved in the uptake and metabolism of long chain fatty acids. FATP4 has acyl-CoA synthase activity and contains an AMP-binding motif. FATP4 is linked to insulin resistance and metabolic disorders.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
