Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSTr2)

Somatostatin is a tetradecapeptide that is widely distributed in the body. It acts on multiple organs in the body and also functions as a neuropeptide affecting electrical activity of neurons. Somatostatin Receptor 2 (SSR2), along with SSR1, is expressed at the highest levels in the stomach and jejunum, cerebrum and kidney, respectively.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunofluorescence: 1:100-1:250\nWestern Blot: 1:100-1:1000 (ECL)\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
