SOX2 (SOX2, Transcription factor SOX-2) (Azide free) (HRP)

This intronless gene encodes a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate. The product of this gene is required for stem-cell maintenance in the central nervous system, and also regulates gene expression in the stomach. Mutations in this gene have been associated with optic nerve hypoplasia and with syndromic microphthalmia, a severe form of structural eye malformation. This gene lies within an intron of another gene called SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT).\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA : 1:10000\nWestern Blot: 1:200~2000\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50~100\nImmunofluorescence: 1:10~50\nFlow Cytometry: 1:10~50\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C with glycerol. Do not freeze horseradish peroxidase conjugates which could result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Light sensitive. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
