Human Sphingosine kinase 2 (GenBank Accession No. AF245447), full length MW 69.5kD, expressed in an Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Specific Activity: 20 U/ug. Sphingosine kinase activity was determined using D- erythro-sphingosine and [ -32P]ATP as substrates at pH 7.4 and 30 degrees C.
